HISTORY
We are honored to host this year's Chad Smith's Ride for Life, a bike run started in 2008 to benefit Chad Smith, who was fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Before losing his battle with cancer on November 15, 2009, Chad had requested that the bike run would continue and help families dealing with cancer in the STMA community. The Annual Chad Smith Ride for Life is still going strong and has helped many families since.
16TH ANNUAL CHAD SMITH BIKE RUN
Over the years, the Chad Smith Ride for Life has grown from having 156 bikes the first year to an average of 425 bikes per year and an attendance of about 1,100 people for the dinner, live auction and band.
This summer our kickstands will be going up for Autumn Lehman and Jake Good. It will also be in memory of Bill Miller.
Autumn, 12, is a sweet girl who was diagnosed in April of 2022 with T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma.
Jake, 27, is an enthusiastic Harley rider who was diagnosed in September of 2022 with stage 2B Testicular Cancer.
Bill, 70, was a member of the Albertville Lions Club. He was diagnosed in October of 2022 with Adenocarcinoma of the lung, which then metastasized to his brain and bones. Our hearts go out to Bill's family as we are saddened to hear of his passing on March 3rd, 2023.
Come join us for an amazing ride to help support and raise money for these courageous individuals!
