Chad Smith Ride for Life: The Ultimate Charity Event
Join The 152 Club for the annual Chad Smith Ride for Life, a powerful and successful fundraiser dedicated to helping local families battling cancer and family members of those who have passed away from cancer.
Since 2008, this event has raised crucial funds, carrying on the wish of Chad Smith to support others fighting the same battle he faced. 100% of all proceeds are given directly to that year’s selected recipients.
The Details
- When: Annually on the Saturday of Father's Day Weekend (3rd weekend in June).
- The Cause: Supporting local families affected by cancer.
- Central Hub: The 152 Club is the starting and ending point for the ride and the location of the benefit.
The Motorcycle Ride (Saturday)
Join hundreds of motorcycles for this highly anticipated charity ride!
- Ride Start: Kickstands up at 10:30 AM from The 152 Club.
- Route: A pre-determined route with 3 fun stops at local bars.
- Drivers/Passengers: $25 each
- Non-Riders: $25 per person for a bus option!
The Post-Ride Benefit & Party
After the ride, the party moves back to The 152 Club for the main benefit, featuring dinner, a massive auction, and fun for the whole community.
- Admission to Benefit: $10 for people age 6 and older, $5 for children 5 and under.
- Dinner: A huge tent is set up to serve dinner to attendees.
- Live Auction: Participate in the live auction and purchase raffle tickets for major prizes (past prizes include Harley-Davidson motorcycles, ATVs, and more).
- Donations: The success of the event depends on donations—monetary, gift baskets, items for auction—all are welcome!
Annual Pre-Fundraisers
To help boost fundraising for the selected recipients, the Chad Smith Ride 4 Life hosts two pre-events at The 152 Club:
- Toss for Life Cornhole Tournament: Held approximately one month before the ride.
- Merchandise Sales: Event merchandise is sold at The 152 Club on the Friday before the ride.
